The point value of a lesson varies depending on the number of challenges that it contains. Each challenge is worth a total of 100 points: for example, a lesson with 10 challenges is worth 1000 points (10 challenges x 100 points per challenge), and a lesson with 5 challenges is worth 500 points (5 challenges x 100 points per challenge). There is no standard number of challenges per lesson, and so each lesson is worth a different number of points.
How are points awarded?
- If students respond to a challenge correctly on their first attempt, they earn 100 points for the challenge.
- If a student responds correctly on the second attempt, they earn 50 points for the challenge.
- If a student responds correctly on the third attempt, they earn 25 points for the challenge.
- After three attempts, a student earns 0 points for the challenge.
