Will Garbanzo prepare students for the STAMP assessment?

Garbanzo is not a test-preparation program, but it absolutely helps students develop the kind of proficiency that the STAMP assessment measures. In fact, STAMP is our preferred proficiency assessment because we believe it is one of the most accurate, manageable, and intuitive tools for measuring real-world language ability.

Garbanzo and STAMP are both about proficiency: we grow it, STAMP measures it.

STAMP assesses what students can understand and communicate in the target language, and Garbanzo is designed to help students develop those very abilities by strengthening their internal language system through consistent exposure to comprehensible, meaningful input.

In short, Garbanzo isn’t designed to “teach to the test”, it’s designed to grow the skills that are the test. That’s why we confidently say that Garbanzo is the perfect partner for STAMP: both focus on authentic language growth and communicative competence.
