If a student is having trouble logging in, they can try to sign in with their email address OR their username. Occasionally a student will forget their chosen username and need to use their email address to sign in. Alternatively, they may forget which email address they use to sign in, but remember their username. Either will work!

Students will need access to their email to verify the password reset request.

At the login screen, they will follow the prompts for "Forgot Password."

The reset password email will come from This email address may need to be whitelisted by your school's IT Department to allow it to come through filters.

In accordance with COPPA standards for student privacy, a teacher cannot reset passwords on behalf of their students.

A teacher CAN, however, regenerate password reset prompts via email to the student (read more).
